January 18, 2024 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
- Facilitated by Helen Quinn
Coaching is an interactive, non-directive process that empowers individuals and teams to reach their full potential by creating conditions that support thinking, problem-solving and action planning. Adopting a coaching approach in leadership has been associated with outcomes relating to 1) improved performance; 2) increased engagement; 3) enhanced learning and development; 4) fostering a culture of accountability; and 5) supporting improved problem-solving. In General Practice, a coaching approach can be used in working in practice / PCN teams and also with patients in order to create conditions that support trust, learning and accountability.
This session will focus on understanding and developing the foundational skills that underpin effective coaching as well as frameworks and tools that can support this approach in leadership.
