This session explores conflict and negative behaviour from patients towards staff and how to best manage these situations, from both a de-escalation and emotional management perspective.

The session will focus on how to best manage situations of conflict and challenging behaviour. It will look at the emotional aspects of these challenging situations and the impact they can have on staff, as well as de-escalation and disarming strategies.
