EQ – Why It Matters

2nd August, 13.00-15.00

Facilitated by Rachel Thompson

Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognise and manage one’s own emotions, as well as the emotions of others. Primary care providers who are emotionally intelligent are better able to build rapport and positive relationships with patients, caregivers and colleagues and ultimately create a positive work environment.

In this session you will explore what emotional intelligence is, why it matters and actions you can take to develop your emotional intelligence.
