Improving early diagnosis of ovarian cancer: Understanding the impact of clinical IT alerts.

July 4 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Webinar: Improving early diagnosis of ovarian cancer: Understanding the impact of clinical IT alerts.

A pilot study led by Target Ovarian Cancer in partnership with two Cancer Alliances in England tested a clinical IT alert; a retrospective audit search and a safety netting search. The pilot diagnosed two women with ovarian cancer earlier than they would have been because of raised awareness of the symptoms and the prompt to test for CA125 and follow NICE Guidance.

All healthcare professionals are invited to the webinar to understand why clinical IT alerts can improve early diagnosis.
