Session 5: SAFER Consulting in older patients.

Many clinicians working in primary care have little, if any, training in the assessment and management of the older patient in the primary care setting. Diagnostic risk is increased in older patients due to multimorbidity, polypharmacy and medical and social vulnerability. This session will describe a symptom-based, patient safety-focused approach to the assessment and management of the older patient.
