SUMMARY:Clinical Supervisor Course Update
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to share an exciting update to our upcoming Clinical Supervisor Course. We’ve been listening to course feedback and have been making some improvements\, the reformed two-day interactive course on General Practice Clinical Supervision will introduce GPs to the core knowledge and skills needed to work as a named Clinical Supervisor. The module introduces key concepts relating to ensuring safety for both learners and patients. \nWe recognise the pressures in general practice\, and we want to save you valuable time. We’re pleased to announce that the course will include protected time and built-in support for GMC recognition. We’re confident that the enhancements will significantly enrich your learning experience and prepare you to excel in your role as a Clinical Supervisor. \nPlease do find the new dates of the course on our webpage and use the enrolment form within it: https://kss.hee.nhs.uk/primary-care/gp-trainers/foundation-clinical-supervisors-fy2-cs/. \nImportant to note\, attendance for both days within the chosen cohort is mandatory. \n\nCS71 – Wednesday 10th July 2024 and Wednesday 17th July 2024\nCS72 – Wednesday 18th September 2024 and Thursday 19th September 2024\nCS73 – Tuesday 12th November 2024 and Tuesday 19th November 2024\nCS74 – Thursday 23rd January 2025 and Thursday 30th January 2025\n\nWe will be sending information on how to come ready and prepared for the day\, closer to the time. \nPlease do not hesitate to contact us at england.ksspc.educatorpathway@nhs.net if you have any questions.
