Kent and Medway health and care ambassadors are people working in health and care organisations who volunteer their time to inspire the next generation of health and care workforce.

You can become an ambassador if you work or volunteer in primary, secondary,

or tertiary health services or if you work in community care, social care, public health or involved voluntary organisations.

Ambassadors are of any working age with a wide range of skills, expertise, experiences, and career journeys. Their work can be anything from admin or corporate services, to estates, finance, public health, or any of the clinical professions, at any level.

As an ambassador, you may be called upon to attend job fairs, school assemblies, colleges, or jobcentres in your area to talk about what it is like to work in health and care in Kent and Medway. You could also work with young people or jobseekers on a more personal level to support them to build their confidence and help them understand how they can develop the skills and knowledge that employers need.

If you would like to find out more or register to join the ambassador network, visit the academy website or follow this link.
