Dear Employers,
The Kent and Medway Primary Care Training Hub (KMPCTH) are starting the process to identify prospective candidates for the NHS E funded Advanced Practice MSc starting September 2025.
We are inviting EMPLOYERS to submit Expressions of Interest for a funded place on the Advanced Practice MSc for clinical staff employed in your Practice, PCN or Federation. Prospective candidates must demonstrate they meet the minimum requirements for training to become an Advanced Practitioner and there MUST be an identified workforce need.
The NHS Long-Term Plan highlights how advanced practice professionals are central to helping transform service delivery and better meet local health needs by providing enhanced capacity, capability, productivity, and efficiency within multi-professional teams.
Please provide initial details of the prospective candidate(s) along with a brief outline of the rationale in the table below.
Please note, First Contact Practitioners (FCPs) need to have completed stage 2 of the FCP programme to be eligible to be considered for NHS E funding.
The two guides attached here provide comprehensive information about Advanced Practice Funding, Supervision and employer and AP Trainee expectations.
