Across Kent and Medway, practices have now signed up to the Single Neighbourhood Contract. The next challenge is turning that shared commitment into a workable model of neighbourhood delivery. Differences in population need, workload, workforce capacity, organisational risk and financial position mean that this will require more than a contract alone. This workshop will help teams explore what shared working might mean when practices start from different positions, consider the digital and data capability needed at PCN and neighbourhood level, and draw learning from the Neighbourhood Health Implementation Programme pioneer in Folkestone & Hythe on operational decisions and workforce change. Participants will also have the opportunity to hear different perspectives and put questions to a panel drawn from primary care, the ICB and KCHFT.

The Primary Care Team and Peer Ambassadors (PAMs) are hosting our second Primary Care Workshop of the year – Ready…Steady…Neighbourhood… which will take place on the 24th of September and is now open for bookings (agenda below). The event will take place in the North Barn at The Friars, Aylesford, Kent ME20 7BX. (map and detailed instructions on reaching the venue further below)

For those of you that have attended our previous workshops, please note that we have moved to the North Barn rather than Main the Conference Room which is bigger. Due to the popularity of the workshop, tickets were selling out, so we hope this helps to provide more opportunity for attendance.
