It is very pleasant to work in Kent & Medway, and there is very good support for our workforce. There are lots of opportunities for people to progress within their career. -
It is a lovely place to work. We are right on the beach too. There are so many opportunities within Primary Care, I have been given so many opportunities and for many of my junior colleagues there is funding and opportunity for them to develop further.

There are good links into London and lots of nice rural areas for walks. Mindfulness is important when working in General Practice and having that ability to go from urban areas to rural areas is helpful.

I really like living by the sea, I like the landscape. In terms of the practice population you are helping people with genuine need, and that's the key thing.

Kent is an exciting place to be at the moment and there is a great network of Healthcare Professionals who work together, with some really excellent teams and new roles cropping up. We are very lucky with our training hub, they are really good and help promote and fund education opportunities.
