FAQs

What about a career in different practices or NHS organisations?

Staff who have previously worked outside of General Practice in the wider NHS can count these years, (provided they have not received any previous recognition for this service and are able to provide the evidence for their line manager).

What about part-time / career interruptions?

Staff who have had a break in service (e.g. adoption leave, maternity leave, or sabbatical) are eligible to apply, however, they must have reached an aggregate of 10, 15, 20, 25 and above years of service in 2024.
