The South East Faculty of Advancing Practice is pleased to announce the next of our planned Advancing Practice Webinar Series: South East Faculty of Advancing Practice Webinar series – 5: Advancing Practice: Understanding Scope of Practice and Avoiding ‘Scope Creep’.
The webinar will be held on Wednesday 21st January 2026, 11.00 – 11.45
This webinar is designed for:
- Organisational and primary care training hub advancing practice leads
- Service leads and managers who have advanced practitioners and trainee advanced practitioners within their service
- Supervisors of advancing practice trainees
- Qualified & trainee advanced practitioners
This webinar will discuss:
- The importance of a robust scope of advancing practice, both for the practitioner, the service and the patient/client group. This includes both patient and practitioner safety concerns.
- Developing an appropriate scope of practice for advancing practice and working within it: points to consider and pitfalls to avoid.
- The roles of the practitioner and supervisor in developing the intended scope of practice
