“I am a GP in Tunbridge Wells undertaking an NHSE Primary Care School Leadership Fellowship. My role is to develop new placement models and increase the numbers of GP training posts within the region in line with the NHS 10-year plan and make training fit for purpose within the areas it is most need it.
I am looking to link with community services such as diabetes care facilities, neighbourhood teams, women’s health hubs, community dermatology clinics and areas that support frailty within a multiprofessional community environment. I would be grateful if you could spare any time to talk about your current workforce training need, current supervision structure and if you have any ideas that might support GP expansion in your area.”
