Over 220 Primary Care multi-professionals from across Kent & Medway attended the Educators’ Conference 2025 in Ashford, an event organised collaboratively between the Kent & Medway Primary Care Training Hub (KMPCTH) and the Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) that offered a rich programme of presentations and workshops led by education and health specialists.

The conference was an overwhelming success, with 81% of delegates rating the day as “Excellent” or “Very Good”, and with very positive feedback on the day’s presentations and workshops. Attendees particularly enjoyed the emphasis put on collaboration and networking, human factors, induction, education and training, EDI and wellbeing including sophrology.

KMMS and KMPCTH hope to have another exciting Educators’ Conference in 2026.

“We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the more than 220 multi-professional educators who attended the Kent and Medway Primary Care Training Hub’s Educators Conference on 3 April. The event was marked by dynamic engagement and a collaborative spirit as we explored the complexities of learning across primary care.

Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the value of the diverse programme. The conference featured a rich mix of workshops led by our own Kent and Medway educators, alongside inspiring presentations from system colleagues and the showcasing of academic posters. This breadth of expertise highlights the considerable talent and innovation present within our practices and Primary Care Networks.

In a challenging healthcare landscape, the conference provided a welcome sense of optimism and renewed energy. It was inspiring to hear about the excellent work already underway, and we are committed to building on this foundation together. By supporting more learners in primary care, we aim to ensure our workforce remains robust and prepared for the future.

Thank you to everyone who participated. Let us continue to grow and strengthen our primary care community”.
