We are pleased to share that we will be offering £1000-1500 funding (per trainee prescriber) to the employing organisation of a limited number of active prescribers willing to provide Designated Prescribing Practitioner services within Kent & Medway. The aim is to provide community pharmacists with the necessary training and supervision to qualify as independent prescribers. This will help to build prescribing and supervision infrastructure across Kent & Medway in primary care (with a focus on community pharmacy).
Please note that the Expressions of Interest will be open until midnight Sunday 9th February.
I have attached the Kent & Medway DPP factsheet for your reference which outlines the criteria for acting as a DPP and the responsibilities of the DPPs organisation.
If you are an organisation with multiple prescribers who are willing to support the DPP pilot, please complete one EOI form per individual DPP.
