Registration Open for the November 2026 cohort

Help create a safer environment for your staff and patients

Incidents of abuse, aggression and violence can have a significant impact on staff wellbeing, retention and patient experience. To support primary care leaders in addressing these challenges, NHS England is offering a fully funded Level 3 Award in Violence Prevention and Reduction (VPR).

This nationally recognised qualification is particularly relevant for Practice Managers and senior administrative leaders, providing practical tools and strategies to help prevent violence, support colleagues following incidents, and promote a culture of safety across the practice.

Participants will explore violence prevention through public health and trauma-informed approaches, gaining skills that can be applied directly within primary care settings. There will also be opportunities to learn from impactful violence reduction initiatives in NHS Trusts and explore how these interventions could be adapted to primary care.
