The Kent & Medway Primary Care Training Hub had the pleasure of supporting two Placement Preparation events specifically tailored for student nurses from Canterbury Christ Church University.

These events were conducted over two consecutive days, providing valuable guidance and resources to help student nurses prepare for their forthcoming placements.

In total, 315 student nurses participated across both venues:

6th of November at the Canterbury Campus – 185

7th of November at the Medway Campus – 130

The events were brimming with energy and enthusiasm as the students eagerly learned about the various types of placements they could undertake. From General Practice and PCN-led clinics to Primary Care led UTCs, there was a lot of valuable information shared. The students were particularly keen on discovering what placements could offer and were enthusiastic about the prospects of their upcoming placements, especially within Primary Care. These events not only provided them with essential information but also motivated them to look forward to their placements with great anticipation.
