PGCE Further Education – This programme is designed for professionals who are already teaching, training, supervising, or assessing others and who would like to gain a recognised teaching qualification. We regularly support nurses and other healthcare professionals who are responsible for developing colleagues, apprentices, and students and who wish to become fully qualified teachers.
The PGCE enables practitioners to strengthen their teaching practice, develop their skills in curriculum planning and assessment, and gain a nationally recognised qualification while continuing in their current role. The course is delivered part-time, with attendance required just one evening per week, making it accessible alongside professional commitments.
We are also running informal information sessions every Wednesday for anyone who would like to learn more about the programme, meet members of the teaching team, and ask any questions they may have. Colleagues would be very welcome to drop in and explore whether the course might be suitable for them.
