Moa, a Trainee Health Psychologist working in the Training Hub, is currently carrying out a research project looking at the barriers and enablers of group consultations in primary care across Kent and Medway. Group consultations are used for patients with a shared medical condition who come together for one long appointment instead of having the traditional one-to-one appointments and are used for patients with long-term conditions such as diabetes.
Anyone who works in primary care can take part in this survey-based study (managers, GPs, nurses etc) and no prior experience of group consultations is needed. By carrying out this research, we will identify further areas of support and development within using the group consultations across primary care.
The survey will take about 15 minutes to fill out https://forms.office.com/e/2bP6Vxfnpp
