KMPCTH has collaborated with the University of Greenwich (UoG) to organise two additional fully funded anticoagulation training sessions. These sessions will be delivered via MS Teams and are designed specifically for clinical staff working within K&M Primary Care, aiming to enhance their knowledge and skills in anticoagulant management.

Anticoagulation Update Course – Tuesday, 24th February 2026, 08:30 to 12:30.

This session is intended for clinicians who have already completed previous training and are currently engaged in anticoagulant monitoring within a primary care setting. The course content will include comprehensive updates on INR monitoring for patients prescribed warfarin, as well as monitoring for those on direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs).

Introduction to Anticoagulation Course -Thursday, 26th March 2026, 09:00 to 17:00.

This introductory session is tailored for clinicians seeking to establish a solid theoretical foundation in the safe management of anticoagulation therapy. The primary focus will be on warfarin management with INR monitoring, and the course will also provide an introduction to DOAC monitoring.

Eligibility

Please note that both sessions are exclusively available to clinical staff who are currently employed within K&M Primary Care.
