At our K&M ReSPECT meeting today, it was highlighted by a number of colleagues that Resus UK have created excellent new modular ReSPECT training for all levels of professionals with excellent resources. Given our K&M wide focus on ReSPECT within daily practice as well specific focus within Winter Scheme and emerging Neighbourhood Health ways of working, it is crucial we all update all professionals involved in supporting the needs for relevant individuals, to have this training update.

Please remember ReSPECT is not just for end of life care planning as it is Recommended Summary Plan for Emergency Care and Treatment, as such anyone at risk of acute exacerbation of their long term condition, cancer, frailty and dementia as well as at risk of sudden health crisis, could benefit from the plan.

Please can you share this as widely as possible in your areas and teams.
