The MSc in Clinical Education has been validated and is commencing September 2025 and is now open for applications.

Here are a few highlights:

  • The MSc is Clinical Education is delivered by Kent and Medway Medical School and accredited by Canterbury Christ Church University.
  • This Interprofessional course is aimed at Doctors, Nurses, Midwives, Dentists, Paramedics and Allied Health and Social Care professionals as well as intercalating medical students. This offers a wider perspective of learning from different professionals.
  • This course is specifically created for those wishing to develop their roles as clinical educators or for those who want to consolidate their existing experience with pedagogy theories.
  • The course offers a flexible approach including stepping off points for PGCert, PGDip & the MSc.
  • The course relates theories of teaching, learning and assessment to the context of clinical practice.
  • Subject to their approval, the course will accredited by the Academy of Medical Educators (AoME) and Advance HE.  Subject to these organisations approval, upon completing the PgCert in Clinical Education students will be able to become Members of the AoME and Fellows of Advance HE, using their postnominal letters.
